Microblading is a semi-permanent tattooing technique used to create hairlike strokes that fill in sparse or thinning brows. The procedure is done using a very fine blade to deposit pigment into the epidermis layer of the skin creating a very natural look. The perfect answer to pale, melanated, aging & asymmetrical lips. Our lips services are a great option for fuller looking lips without the need for injectables or surgery. Lasts 2-3 years with proper aftercare and lifestyle.

Lip Blush is a semi-permanent, sheer tattoo that enhances the color and shape of the lips resulting in more definition and the impression of more fullness. dark LIP NEUTRALIZATION
Lip Neutralization is a semi-permanent tattoo that uses a gradual process working to even out and slightly brighten darker lips. The goal is to neutralize and even out the top and bottom lips for a consistent lip tone. In more melanated skin tones, neutralization must be done before actual Lip Blush is applied if there are darker, pigmented areas on the lips. All results vary. 3 Hours

Stand in front of a window or door facing outward-or stand outside. Take a selfie looking straight at the camera, then take a selfie of each full eyebrow. If you're wanting lip service (pics of the lips will need to be taken). Make sure only overcast light is on your face, NO SUN as it creates hotspots on your face and I can't get a good look. If you show up to your appointment without prior authorization from me and your brows and/or lips are not able to be worked over, you will be charged for your appointment. I'm Apryl Richmond and I'm the CEO/Owner of Swayh Beauty, LLC. I've spent about 15 years working as an internationally published Professional Makeup Artist based out of Columbus, Ohio. I've specialized in Beauty, Bridal, Editorial and Fashion makeup. Some of my work has been seen on Dr. Oz, Bridezilla, Fox 28 Columbus, etc. I worked for MAC Cosmetics, Lancome, and Christian Dior. I eventually started my own business (Makeup By Apryl) where I spent years meeting thousands of the most amazing women and working hundreds of weddings with the most extraordinary brides. I'm known around town for my Signature Brows leaving clients saying "I wish I could wake up with my brows like this." This is why I decided to transition out of traditional makeup and into Permanent makeup-giving my client perfect brows they can literally wake up with.
I received my first two PMU certifications in 2017 and opened my business in 2018. I've been working in the field of PMU for over six years. I've also received FOUR additional certifications in PMU and hold a total of SIX certifications. I'm also certified in Blood Borne Pathogens-Safe handling of bodily fluids, First Aid and Sanitation techniques. I'm a graduate of the Spa School of Ohio and a Licensed Advanced Managing Esthetician . I'm also a Licensed Tattoo Artist. My new office is located in Gahanna, Ohio off of Morrison rd. with easy access to I-270 and I-70.

*ARRIVE ALONE TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. EXTRA PEOPLE AND/OR CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
1.) ARRIVE WITH A CLEAN MAKEUP FREE FACE.
2.) NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WITHIN 24 HOURS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT. NO COFFEE WITHIN 72 HOURS OF YOUR APPT. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD INCREASE BLOOD FLOW. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3.) NO WAXING WITHIN 5 DAYS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT
4.) NO BLOOD THINNERS SUCH AS ASPIRIN, ALEVE, IBUPROFEN, EXCEDRIN, FISH, FISH OIL, SEAFOOD OF ANY TYPE, SEA MOSS, VITAMIN E OR VITAMINS AT LEAST 72 HOURS BEFORE PROCEDURE. 5.) NO TANNING WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF PROCEDURE. ***PLEASE SCHEDULE AROUND ANY POSSIBLE VACATION THAT WOULD LEAD TO TANNING, SWEATING OR UV EXPOSURE. DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF YOUR VACATION-PREFERRABLE 6 WEEKS IF YOU'RE GOING SOMEWHERE HOT.
6.) NO BOTOX OR FILLERS IN THE FOREHEAD OR BROW AREA WITHIN TWO MONTHS OF PROCEDURE.
7.) NO ANTIBIOTICS WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF PROCEDURE.
8.) NO PROCEDURES ARE RECOMMENDED IF YOU ARE PRONE TO KELOIDING OR CURRENTLY GOING THROUGH CHEMOTHERAPY OR RADIATION THERAPY.
9.) APPOINTMENT MUST BE RESCHEDULED IF YOU ARE SICK WITH ANY TYPE OF VIRAL OR BACTERIAL INFECTION. IF YOU SHOW UP SICK, YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED AND YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED.
10.) NO FACIALS, MICRODERMABRASIONS, OR CHEMICAL PEELS WITHIN 4 WEEKS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
11.) NO ANTI-AGING PRODUCTS ON THE SKIN WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT.
12.) PLEASE SCHEDULE AROUND YOUR MENSTRUAL CYCLE AS PAIN/SENSITIVITY IS HEIGHTENED

FAQ
Does it Hurt?
Two topical anesthetics are used to minimize pain but ultimately the pain level is subjective depending on each individuals own pain tolerance.
How long will my eyebrows last?
Being that a Semi-permanent pigment is used, your eyebrows should last up to 12 months or longer depending on skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. A yearly color boost/touch up is recommended to achieve maximum results.
Can I be in the sun during the healing process?
Please limit your exposure to the sun during the first 10 days of healing. Do not spend time outside in the Sun and heat as this will minimize your results. If you are driving, please use your sun visor if you feel the sun on your face.
How soon can I wear makeup after my procedure?
Please don't wear makeup for at least 10 days following your procedure to avoid potential infection and to maximize your investment.
Will I still have to get my brows waxed/threaded or razored?
Yes. You will still want to keep the area around your tattoo clean just like you usually do. This will give you your best look.
Will all of my natural brow hairs fall out?
No. Your natural brow hairs will still grow just like they usually do. Slight shedding may occur as the result of being clipped by the blade during the procedure to create strokes-but it is very minimal (a few strands or so).
Do you choose my brow shape?
I can create a custom brow shape just for your face, or you can show me a picture of how you are wanting your brows so we can achieve your desired results. It's totally up to you.
Are your products sterile?
All of our products are sterile and all of our needles/blades are one time use only and are disposed of after use. I open your disposable needle/blade in right in front of your just before we start the procedure. Cavicide wipes/spray and Barbacide are used for everything else.
Are you willing to do free work in exchange for advertising from people with large followings?
Absolutely not. No matter the following or popularity, everyone is required to pay for services received. I will not respond to any inquiries in regards to this type of trade.
Can you microblade over my scar in brow?
I can. But there is a chance that your scar may be resistant to the pigment used causing the scar to remain visible. More than one touch up session may be needed to achieve desired results.
Can I receive your current touch up rate if you didn't do my original work?
My touch up rates only apply to clients that I've done original work on (Current clients of Swayh Beauty, LLC.) You would be considered a new client to Swayh Beauty and would need to book a new service. But before booking, please email me pictures of your current brows and wait for my response in determining if I can work over them. You will be subject to an additional $100.00 work over fee as it takes more time to work over someone else's work.
Brow Aftercare Instructions
For maximum results, please follow all of the aftercare instructions. It's important not to judge your results based off of your healing process as your brows will darken about 40-60%, naturally peel, then they will lighten. For optimal results, consider booking a touchup appointment to fill in any color loss areas that may occur during the healing process.
*Do not get wet or wash the treated area until all peeling is completed.
*Keep the are lightly moist with a sterile thin layer of Aquafor or Hustle Butter. Do not apply with fingers as this could cause potential infection. Wash hands thoroughly and apply the thinnest layer (the size of a grain of rice) of ointment with a q-tip.
*DO NOT PICK any part of your brows. It's very tempting as the brow scabs over and may itch some. But picking will cause pigment loss, scarring and empty patches (from color loss) on your brows. It will destroy your investment. Apply a thin layer of ointment (that I supply you) for some relief. Swayh Beauty, LLC is not responsible for the effects that come with picking the brow area. Picking will definitely lead to you needing a touch up appointment to attempt to correct the picked area. Intentional picking of your scabs that have compromised your initial brow work will result in you paying an additional $300.00 fee on top of the touchup cost to have your brows reconstructed and worked from scratch all over again. Do not under any circumstance pick your scabs during healing.
*Do not touch your brows with bare hands/fingers during healing. Your tattoo is an open wound and doing this could potentially cause infection to the site.
*After procedure, there may be some slight swelling but it will subside in a few hours.
*Do not workout for 10 days after procedure (wait until all scabbing has fallen off). This will open your pores causing you to sweat and you may not retain as much pigment.
*Avoid sweating for at least 10 days after procedure (after all scabbing has fallen off).
*Avoid long hot/steamy showers for 7-10 days (until all scabbing has fallen off). You can put a thin layer of aquafor on your brows with a clean q-tip prior to showering to minimize water exposure.
*Absolutely no makeup on or around the brows until all scabbing has fallen off.
*Avoid sleeping on your face during the healing process to keep bacteria out of the brow area. It's recommended that you sleep on your back.
*Avoid the sun until after all peeling has finished. If you are going to be outside, please consider wearing a hat or visor to avoid sun exposure. While driving, please consider using the sun visor. Sun exposure will affect your skin's ability to retain pigment.
*Please plan any vacations around your procedure to avoid sun exposure.
*No swimming, jacuzzis, saunas or anything that creates steam.
*Avoid Retin A, Renova, Alpha Hydroxy, Glycolic Acids, Bleaching creams, Skin brightening serums and moisturizers, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acids, Squalane, Aloe, and Vitamin E products, and vitamin c serums on the brow and forehead area moving forward.
*Once you've healed, use a good sunscreen to prevent premature fading.
*If you have any signs of infection, redness, pain or abnormal swelling associated with the procedure, call your physician and contact us.
